What’s the Science Behind It: When vinegar and baking soda mix there is a reaction between an acid and a base. 1. Vinegar is the acid 2. Baking soda is the base This reaction causes a gas called carbon dioxide to bubble and foam. Materials you’ll need. Making Soda Vinegar Funnel Empty Water bottle Balloon Food coloring Small plastic cups Dropper or straw Measuring cup Eye protection Baking sheet (too catch over flow) Let’s create and learn. ?
